Computers and peripherals all do an important job in enabling us to use technology to the max. However we are here to help you organise your equipment so that they work linked together in a network.

There are many advantages of having a network instead of many stand alone computers, for instance you can link one printer to all the computers in your company or office space. Files can be sent across the network or hosted by a computer so that all networked computers can access the shared files.

You could also have a network which uses a central server. The server is used as a hard drive to hold all your files and software, the files can then be accessed, modified and then saved back on the server instead of having all the files saved on every computer. This is an extremely useful tool if you have lots of employees that need to access the same programs and files regularly.

Networks can be created using wires or wireless technology, each have there advantages and disadvantages, depending on you needs one will be suitable for you.
